Want to get involved with DFW Mom Society? We’d love to have you! Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community while meeting other moms along the way. It’s also an easy way to meet more moms. Volunteering can be done alongside your kids.

Signing up is easy

For event volunteers, we use a Sign Up Genius so you can pick the week(s) that work best for your schedule each month.

For moms interested in hosting a mom-hosted event, please know that we aren’t able to move forward with every application. If we receive multiple applications for the same type of event, priority goes to areas we don’t currently serve, event types we don’t yet offer, and moms who attend our events currently. Hosting also includes a short interview process, so we can make sure it’s the right fit for you and for our community.

    Set Up Team

    • Arrive 20-30 minutes early
    • Help set up the DFW Mom Society table or any other items for the event
    • Perfect for moms who like to arrive early
    • Does not include setting up sponsor tables or items

    Tear Down Team

    • 20 minutes after end of event
    • Tear down and load all DFW Mom Society items into vehicles
    • Perfect for moms who like to stay late
    • Does not include tear down for sponsor tables or items

    • Capturing B-Roll footage at events
    • Perfect for moms who are good at social media or video.

    Greeting Team

    • 15-20 minute time commitment at beginning of Friday events
    • Meet moms and help pass out name tags as moms arrive
    • Perfect for moms who want to volunteer but have minimal time to commit

    Welcome Committee

    • The night before Friday events, text moms who are brand new
    • 10-15 minutes at the beginning of Friday events to say hello to these moms to make them feel welcomed and comfortable

    Play Date/Meetup Host for Small events

    • Host a Mom Hosted Meetup — typically 10-20 moms
    • You work with us to choose when and where meetup will be
    • You can host by yourself or find another mom to co-host with
    • Biggest needs are Burleson, Cedar Hill, Midlothian, Waxahachie, Grand Prairie and Arlington
